 MILVENT protective vents allow EPS, polystyrene / polystyrene surfboards to pass air back and forth between the core and the outside of the board, preventing water from entering. Extreme variations in temperature release the release of gases that cause an outward pressure causing the possibility of delamination, a classic problem of boards built in EPS. The Air Vent technology consisting of a double membrane prevents the accumulation of pressure by uniforming and constantly balancing the pressure difference between the inside of the table and the surrounding environment. The vent works by allowing air and other gases to pass freely through the membrane preventing liquids from entering. This constant exchange reduces the pressure on the laminate and the plug seals without requiring any adjustment. With Milvent Air Vent, you no longer have to worry about leaving your board in the car in midsummer or under the sun on the beach.
 Our plugs are of the highest quality and guaranteed for life. With proper maintenance (fresh water rinse, protected from dust and blows) the membranes will last decades. In the event of a malfunction, simply change the screw with membrane without having to intervene on the table.
 Installation is very simple and takes place after lamination . Milvent air vent it has a flanged insert on which, once installed, you will screw the fan. Get a fast curing epoxy putty and a 32mm cup tip.
